As an employer you will appreciate that one of the most important aspects of a business is its workforce. Ensuring that employees are paid both correctly and on time is vital, not only in maintaining a happy workforce, but also to remain compliant with current UK rules and regulations.

The last few years have seen fundamental changes in the way that Payroll operates, including the need to make submissions to HMRC with every pay day and the introduction of Automatic Enrolment to Pension Schemes.

There are two main reasons why businesses decide to outsource their payroll:

- COMPLIANCE

                      Complicated and ever-changing rules and regulations surrounding Payroll can make it a nightmare for employers. Finding the time required to train and retrain with every change can be difficult. At Coppice Payroll, we can assure you that our Payroll knowledge and expertise will always be up-to-date and that you can rely on us to get you through each payroll run securely.

- TIME MANAGEMENT

                     You, or a valued member of your staff, may already run your own Payroll. However, it may be the case that the time spent on Payroll is time that could be better spent elsewhere. Although there will always be some level of input required on your part, outsourcing your Payroll to Coppice will allow for more time to be spent on other aspects of your business.

WHICH PAYROLL SERVICES DO WE PROVIDE?

We offer a range of Payroll Services, which include, but are not limited to:

- Preparing and calculating the gross and net pay for all employees for each Payment Period.

- Providing reports detailing the payments and statutory deductions.

- Providing payslips for distribution to your employees.

- Maintaining your payroll records for statutory purposes.

- Processing leavers and preparing P45s.

- Producing a summary of the PAYE and National Insurance payments due to HMRC.

- Preparing Full Payment Submission (FPS) and Employer Payment Submission (EPS) returns to HMRC.

- Preparing year-end P60 forms for distribution to your employees.

- Running auto-enrolment assessments and uploading pension files to the relevant websites.

WHAT SOFTWARE DO WE USE?

We use BrightPay to complete our Payrolls. BrightPay gained recognition as one of the best payroll software providers on the market several years ago, becoming one of the earliest packages to adopt Payroll/Auto-Enrolment compatibility.

WHAT PAYSLIP FORMATS ARE AVAILABLE?

We offer two types of payslips:


- Email Payslips

            These can either be sent to one address for distribution, or to each employee individually at no extra cost.


- Online Payslips

            Online Payslips are slightly different in that a logon will be provided to each employee, with their payslips being available at all times provided they have access to the internet.


In order to remain both efficient and ecologically friendly, we do not provide paper payslips.
